Why Did You Receive An Email From Us?
You receive mailings from us for two possible reasons:
(i) Your email address is listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (“opt-in”) ;
(ii) You have an existing relationship with us, (as a Client, Member of Parish, Location Liaison; and/or you communicated in-person with us). We greatly respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.
How Your Privacy Is Protected
We use the service MailChimp, which is a reputable Email Service Provider (ESP). It is a company that specializes in delivering our email communications to you. It helps us by managing bounces, unsubscribes, complying with spam laws. Also, it analyzes results of our email outreach so we can make our content more relevant for subscribers.
Usage and Sharing
We will never sell, share, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance written permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers (MailChimp) for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
What Type of Data Do We Collect?
Generally, we collect or maintain the following categories of data:
Subscriber Data: When a client, member of parish, location liaison, is subscribed to our Email List, we collect contact information for that individual, which we refer to in this policy as “Subscriber Data.” The Subscriber Data we collect includes individual or contact name, company name, e-mail address. Some subscribers have business relations with us, such as Members of Parish, Liaisons of Locations, and Fans who have participated in an event from us. We enable these subscribes to maintain their correct contact information, such as phone number, mailing address, and certain demographic data, preferences and interests.
Information Received and Stored: When we use MailChimp to send you a special Email, MailChimp will use an electronic image known as a Web beacon. A Web beacon enables MailChimp to determine when you open our email to you. Some Emails will have hyperlinks that promote our productions or products. MailChimp will sometimes track whether or not these hyperlinks are clicked on. MailChimp tracks this activity and aggregates it, so we can measure the performance of our Email Campaigns, and to improve our offerings to specific subscriber segments.
What About Children Under 13?
Our Site and services are not intended to be used by children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from, or target our Site or services to, children under the age 13. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, if we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will remove it from our systems immediately.
How Can You Stop Receiving Email From Us?
Each email sent contains a very easy and automated way for you to stop receiving email messages from us in the future, or to change your specific interest settings. If you would like to do this, simply follow the links at the bottom of every email message.
If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org for review. We will look into the matter immediately.
