Mr. Parisi, one of our wonderful parents, came in to talk with our 4th and 5th grade classes about the history of President Theodore Roosevelt before they take their field trip to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site. He brought in many cool artifacts and had a great Q & A with the students! We are buzzing 🐝 with excitement for our trip next month!

Mrs. Gengo and Miss Kerwin’s 5th and 4th graders recently participated in an indoor "STREAM snow day". They worked together with strict parameters and materials to create the tallest marshmallow structure. They then moved to the gym for a snowball fight and discussed probabilities and fractions to see who could get the most snowballs to the other team’s side after 2 minutes. It was a tight battle through all rounds! We then relaxed and enjoyed some hot chocolate and marshmallows with our friends. ❄️☃️☕️

Our virtue for January is diligence. Diligence is the effort to do one’s part, while keeping faith and reliance in God, despite the complexities of life. Diligence is almost the same as hard work, constancy or staying the course. #MondayMotivation #Diligence #CharacterEd
